Member of the Senedd for Merthyr Tydfil & Rhymney, Dawn Bowden MS, has called on constituents to ‘flow before you go’ when visiting family and friends this Christmas.

With coronavirus still spreading in our communities, there are things we can all do to disrupt the transmission.

The omicron variant remains a serious concern due to the speed of transmission and its potential to infect large numbers of people.

No matter where you are going this Christmas, whether that’s a Christmas party, Christmas shopping, visiting friends, or going to a crowded place, please take a lateral flow test before you go out.

If the test is positive, individuals should stay home, arrange for a PCR test and self-isolate.
