I am very pleased that in this Senedd election 16 and 17 year olds can vote for the first time. I voted in support of votes at 16. Many other people will also have the opportunity to use their vote for the first time.
I recognise it is important that you also receive impartial information about how to use your vote. The link below will give you information about the electoral system in Wales and about your vote in the elections on May 6th.
“Electoral Commission – Welcome to your vote”
I am of course hoping that you will vote for me as the Welsh Labour and Co-operative constituency candidate for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney.
But I also believe it is also important in a democracy – and for this Welsh General Election – that you use your votes and make your voice heard.
